Gold Nanoparticle Sensor for The Detection of CKD and Use of Nanomedicine in The Treatment of Kidney Diseases

The study was carried out in 40 patients of different age groups and their breaths were exhaled. These breaths were analyzed by the use of sensors which were basically functionalized with gold nanoparticles. Sensitivity and specificity with relation to CKD patient classification according to estimated glomerular filtration rate were determined using cross-validation. The medicine was induced after the proper analysis of the target.  Results:  It was found that the sensors were very useful when 2-3 nanoparticles were used together, and it showed that in between stage 1 and 2 CKD with an accuracy of 60% and in between stage 4 and stage 5 of CKD accuracy was 67%. There were various substances in breath which could identify many toxins which were accumulated due to kidney function loss. Lupine Publishers | Most Challenging Urologic Complaint of Men Ever After- Short Penile Length: What is the Situation in Turkish Men

Image
Lupine Publishers | Journal of Clinical and Community Medicine Abstract Introduction & Objectives: Short penile length is probably the oldest symptom of men for centuries. It can be troubling enough for many men although not short in fact. Urologists often meet cases attending with complaints of insufficient penile length, but it is known that the measures of penile length are normal in majority of cases. It is known that nearly all of the cases do not have any knowledge in terms of normal penile length. In the literature, many studies have dealt with measures of penile length in flaccid position. In order to build up a nomogram of the population, erectile penile length and penile circumference should be measured. Material & Methods: In this study, cases attending with complaints of insufficient penile length and/or penile curvature were evaluated retrospectively via results of self-measurement of erectile penile length by photographs taken by the patients at home and circumfer

Lupine Publishers | A Critical Review of Publications related to Al-Hijama Therapy

Image
Lupine Publishers | Journal of Clinical and Community Medicine Short Communication Evidence-based clinical practice emphasizes the use of information from well designed and conducted research in healthcare decision-making. It largely depends upon the outcomes from prospective randomized clinical trials in which the number of patients are sufficiently high to ensure that the results are robust. Such trials need to be adequately powered and to define from the beginning what magnitude of difference between treatments is being sought. The classical approach when assessing the value of new medications has been the use of blind assessments in which both patients and assessors do not know which drug or placebo they are receiving. The application of such an approach in Al-Hijama is either impractical or even unethical as it would require use of sham wet cupping. A recent review from Iran Bamfarahnak et al. [1] suggested Al-Hijama is currently prescribed for up to 120 diseases that are difficul

Lupine Publishers | The Consciousness in Health-Disease

Image
Lupine Publishers | Journal of Clinical and Community Medicine Short Communication The new physics is a new beginning, an infinite succession of universes. Man, with his matter is within this transformation, but where lies the single and unrepeatable human consciousness of each being? Consciousness is the only possibility the universe has of being qualified and also of man to recognize himself. Here, at this point, starts the existential mystery that touches everyone with an everlasting seal. Today, irreversible and phenomenological descriptions have permeated the scientific intellect. The current physics does not describe phenomena with a mathematical ideal, but appeals to a sensitive, subjective knowledge, which places individual consciousness as the repository of its beliefs and consequences. A consciousness that lives in strain between the being and the future, between time and eternity. Read more about articles:  https://lupinepublishers.com/clinical-community-medicine/fulltext/

Lupine Publishers | How Might the UK Government Engage with the Public on Compulsory Vaccination Debate in the United Kingdom?

Image
Lupine Publishers | Journal of Clinical and Community Medicine Abstract This essay suggests three ways in which compulsory vaccination can be taken forward should the UK Government decide to do so. It addresses the question of; how can we ensure that public concerns about compulsory vaccination are considered if compulsory vaccination is to be introduced by the UK Government? Arguments for and against compulsory vaccination from the literature ate provided. However, the interest here is not whether compulsory vaccination should be adopted or not but how best to take this forward should the UK Government decide to take this forward.
